Robert Abercrombie Lovett (1895-1986)
was son of the president and chairman of the Union Pacific Railroad,
a member of the Skull and Bones society at Yale University,
partner of the infamous Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.,
with Harvey Bundy was special assistant (1941-45) to Secretary of War
Henry Stimson, Secretary of Defense (1951-53), and a director of the
Freeport Sulphur company.
